ROSSELLI & THE LEGACY OF THE RESISTANCE

Perhaps the first time a talk of mine is dubbed a lectio magistralis:

On Amelia Rosselli and the inheritance of the anti-Fascist Resistance, at the Soprintendenza Archivistica e Bibliografica della Toscana in central Florence.

I’m honored to be in the company of the Superintendent of Archives, with one of the archivists who organized the family papers, and of Valdo Spini, President of the Foundation of the Circolo Fratelli Rosselli.

Lovely for the hundreds? of hours I’ve spent in archives with Rosselli’s papers to be recognized within this context, against the general amnesia of the so-called literary marketplace!
