GEOPOETICS OF THE UNBOUNDED CITY | PARIS

I’m deeply excited to announce that I’ll be starting a long-delayed several-year adventure as Visiting Professor at the Université Gustave Eiffel this week and next, with a pair of public events. The first, a seminar on the geopoetics of the unbounded metropolis as I’ve come to conceive of it lately and over the past decade or so, will be hosted this Thursday by the Cité des Dames project founded by Caroline Trotot and Philippe Gambette, and the second (detailed separately) will be hosted next Thursday evening by the blazing folks of Double Change and the atelier of printer/publisher Michael Woolworth.

My talk Thursday from 2-5 pm at the University (directions here) is titled “Geopoetics of the Unbounded Metropolis: The City as Circulatory System and Waste Product” and will lay out a possible future for this research.
