From Futurist radio programs to Oskar Schlemmer’s Triadic Ballet to Oswald de Andrade’s theater pieces, our avant-garde objects of study often exceed rigid disciplinary frameworks and national boundaries, necessitating analysis across the arts and internationally. This seminar welcomes papers on the diverse and often collaborative output of the international avant-garde.

My contribution: a paper on "Between Pentecost and Babel: Wireless Imaginations in Postwar Poetry and the Apparition of a Transnational Language."
