Wednesday, June 4 7:30PM sharp Tyrone Williams was born in Detroit, Michigan and earned his BA, MA, and PhD at Wayne State University. He is the author of a number of chapbooks, including Convalescence (1987); Futures, Elections (2004); Musique Noir (2006); and Pink Tie (2011), among others. His full-length collections of poetry include c.c. (2002), On Spec (2008), The Hero Project (2009), Adventures of Pi (2011), and Howell (2011).
Jennifer Scappettone is the author of From Dame Quickly (2009) and of several chapbooks, including Thing Ode / Ode oggettuale, translated into Italian in dialogue with Marco Giovenale. Exit 43, an archaeology of the landfill and opera of pop-up pastorals, is in progress for Atelos Press, with a letterpress palimpsest, A Chorus Fosse, forthcoming from Compline. She edited and translated Locomotrix: Selected Poetry and Prose of Amelia Rosselli. Killing the Moonlight: Modernism in Venice, her study of the premodern, feminized city as a crucible for twentieth-century strains of vanguardism, is forthcoming this summer.
James Shea is the author of Star in the Eye (Fence Books) and the chapbook Air and Water Show (Convulsive Editions). His second collection, The Lost Novel, is forthcoming from Fence Books.
